Egyptair joins Star alliance immediately
 

EgyptAir now belongs to Star AllianceAs of July 11, 2008 there is a new star on the Star Alliance horizon: EgyptAir, headquartered in Cairo, is the 21st airline to join the largest airline alliance in the world. EgyptAir adds another nine airports to the worldwide network. In addition to award miles, which you have been able to earn and redeem since October 2007, you can now earn status miles as well on EgyptAir flights.
